Verratti and Draxler Headed to Qatar, It’s Almost Done

Marco Verratti, the 30-year-old Italian midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain, is close to a move to Qatar (Al-Arabi), according to L’Equipe.

According to information from RMC and L’Équipe, it appears that Verratti is nearing a transfer to a Qatari club, likely Al-Arabi. Furthermore, Julian Draxler, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder from PSG, is also on the verge of joining the Qatari league, but with Al-Ahli SC.

« The Italian has reached an agreement, and the Qatari club had already done the same with PSG several days ago. Now, all that’s left is for the midfielder to undergo a medical examination and sign the contract, » reports L’Equipe.

« He will encounter in the league his current teammate: Julian Draxler. The German is set to join Al-Ahli SC, with whom a total agreement has been reached in the last few hours, » according to L’Equipe.
