PSG’s Recruitment Priorities for the Summer Transfer Window: according to PSG Inside Actus, five positions are targeted.
The transfer window is expected to open a bit earlier this summer. The LFP could move the start to June 10th. And Paris is ready. To strengthen its squad, Paris Saint-Germain has identified several key needs for the summer transfer window. Here are the priority positions to fill, according to PSG Inside Actus.
The goalkeeper position is already secured for next season, with Safonov. In defense, the club is looking to recruit at least one center-back, possibly two if Milan Škriniar leaves, to ensure defensive solidity with high-level players. The names Yoro and Konaté are circulating.
A defensive midfielder is also needed to balance the team and provide protection to the defense, with Youssouf Fofana from AS Monaco as a potential target. But also other options like Guimaraes or Neves.
In addition to these positions, PSG is looking to add an attacking midfielder capable of energizing the attack and providing assists. A left winger is also desired to diversify the offensive options and create chances on the left flank. Although a left-back is not an absolute priority, recruitment in this position could strengthen the team’s depth and offer more flexibility in rotations. Theo Hernandez is notably targeted.
PSG has a clear plan to strengthen several areas of the team. With these signings, the club hopes not only to compensate for potential departures but also to build a more balanced and competitive team for next season.
