T
he rumor of Thiago Motta’s arrival at PSG circulated this summer. The Italian coach has finally made his decision.
From Bologna to a more prestigious club next summer. Thiago Motta, the former PSG player, who has been successful with Bologna this season (securing a Serie A podium finish and a place in the Champions League for the upcoming season), will not stay at this club.
With his contract expiring next June, Thiago Motta is said to have chosen to continue his coaching career at Juventus, according to sources from Corriere della Sera. The former PSG player will replace Massimiliano Allegri, who will leave his position at the end of the season.
Luis Enrique will likely extend his contract at PSG
Italian media reports that a preliminary agreement has been reached between the two parties, providing for an initial two-year contract with an option for a third year, as well as an annual salary of €3.5 million. The official announcement of this new alliance is expected to come after the conclusion of the Italian championship.
Thiago Motta will not come to PSG immediately. Information published in recent days claimed that the Italian had chosen PSG and rejected Juventus Turin. But with Luis Enrique’s imminent extension at Paris, this scenario is not what is ultimately unfolding.
