Luis Diaz, the Liverpool forward, is unlikely to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) during this summer transfer window.

PSG’s hopes of signing Diaz have dwindled as the player himself has addressed the ongoing transfer rumors. During a gathering with the Colombian national team, Diaz expressed his contentment with Liverpool, stating:

« I am very happy here at Liverpool. It’s a great team, a great club. I have always wanted to play here, so I am very happy and calm. I’m not thinking about anything else. I am focused on the Colombian national team. »

This statement appears to end speculation about his imminent departure. According to RMC Sport, Diaz has decided against joining PSG, thus quashing the Parisian club’s hopes of signing him this summer. The Colombian international is under contract with Liverpool until 2027.
