A rift appears to have emerged between Manuel Ugarte and Luis Enrique at PSG, according to Italian press reports.

Despite Ugarte’s assertions to the contrary, he seems to be struggling to adapt to life in France. PSG Inside Actus sur X reveals that he has become a secondary choice for Enrique, not having been fielded as a starter for several months. Moreover, the club is reportedly preparing to welcome two new signings in his position, according to this source.

Should he depart, PSG is considering a sale estimated between €30 and €50 million, far below the €60 million invested in his acquisition last summer. Players such as Warren Zaïre Emery, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, or even Kang In Lee are said to have surpassed him in the midfield pecking order.

Juventus is reportedly eyeing Ugarte to bolster their midfield next season, considering a loan offer, although this doesn’t seem to sit well with PSG, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ugarte has seemingly slipped down the midfield hierarchy in recent weeks, openly criticizing Luis Enrique’s management. This alleged divergence in footballing philosophy has distanced the player from the coach’s vision, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

However, Fabrizio Romano suggests that despite these circumstances, Ugarte is unlikely to be sold this summer. With a contract running until 2028, he will have time to reclaim his place.
