Milan Skriniar is being pushed towards the exit by PSG this transfer window, but the defender has spoken out to confirm he is staying put.
One year after signing him, Paris Saint-Germain is looking to part ways with Milan Skriniar (29 years old), a central defender who played 24 matches in Ligue 1 this season, during this summer’s transfer window. According to Le Parisien, the Slovak international is no longer part of coach Luis Enrique’s plans.
Skriniar, a former Inter Milan player, still holds a good reputation in Serie A.
However, with a contract at PSG running until June 2028, the central defender wants to stay in Paris to turn things around after a disappointing first season. This determination to stay could pose a problem for PSG, which is looking to trim its squad.
The player, while preparing for Euro 2024, spoke out on Sunday evening about his situation: « Yes, I am staying at PSG! » This is a clear statement, but he will likely be spending his time on the bench.
