Real Madrid is also under threat: PSG wants to acquire Vinicius Jr.
PSG reportedly made an attempt: an exchange of Mbappe for Courtois and Vinicius Jr. The deal obviously did not materialize, but according to the Spanish press, Real Madrid is still concerned about PSG’s interest in Vinicius.
To ward off this threat, according to information from Cadena SER, Real Madrid wants to quickly finalize Vinicius Jr.’s contract extension. As a bonus, there would be a reward for achieving all the objectives outlined in his current contract.
Currently under contract until 2025, Vinicius Jr. could extend for an additional five seasons with a release clause of one billion euros. Additionally, there would be a bonus if he were to win the Ballon d’Or with Real Madrid. He would become the highest-paid player in the Real Madrid squad.
