Paris Saint-Germain is showing interest in Rasmus Højlund, a 20-year-old Danish forward who had an impressive performance in Serie A during the 2022-2023 season with 32 matches played and 9 goals scored.
However, PSG should be cautious as Manchester United is also keen on Rasmus Højlund and seems to be ahead in the race. According to reputable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United has already obtained the player’s agreement for a potential transfer.
As per Romano’s information, Manchester United is planning to submit an official offer to Atalanta Bergamo, Højlund’s current club, as early as next week.
While Højlund is leaning towards Manchester United, PSG is not giving up and has initiated discussions with the player through intermediaries. Bergamo is reportedly demanding a fee between 65 and 70 million euros to release the talented young Danish player.
