The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has identified six players as top priorities on its transfer list, according to reports from L’Équipe.
The post-Mbappé transfer market for PSG promises to be eventful. According to L’Équipe, the club’s management is determined to reinforce every line of its squad to approach the upcoming season with renewed ambitions.
In the goalkeeper department, PSG has already secured the signing of Russian goalkeeper Safanov. The club will shell out €20 million for this surprise acquisition. He will directly compete with Donnarumma. There won’t be a clear number one at the beginning of the season, as reported by L’Équipe.
In defense, the capital club has clear ambitions. Lenny Yoro from Lille is one of the targeted prospects, although competition from Real Madrid is fierce. Antonio Silva from Benfica is also on PSG’s wish list. However, his €100 million release clause poses a hurdle for Luis Campos, PSG’s sporting advisor.
In midfield, PSG has set its sights on two talents from the French league: Akliouche from AS Monaco and Rayan Cherki from Olympique Lyonnais. Cherki’s name has previously been linked with PSG. However, this deal remains complex as Kylian Mbappé’s mother, who manages the interests of the young Lyon prodigy, adds an extra dimension to the negotiations.
In attack, PSG is working on bringing back Xavi Simons from loan. However, the Dutch player will wait until the end of the Euros to make a final decision. As for the potential successor to Kylian Mbappé, PSG dreams of recruiting Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian superstar from Napoli. Nevertheless, the recent arrival of Antonio Conte at Napoli complicates the situation, with the new coach firmly counting on Kvaratskhelia and expressing his refusal to let him go.
