PSG Moves Forward with Edmond Tapsoba, Offer Made
Paris Saint-Germain continues to explore the transfer market to bolster their squad. One serious target is Edmond Tapsoba, the 25-year-old Burkinabé central defender currently under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028.
According to journalist Pedro Morais, PSG has already made an offer to secure Tapsoba’s services. The player, known for his defensive solidity and ability to initiate clean build-ups, would fit perfectly into the needs of the Parisian club, which aims to strengthen its defensive sector.
However, PSG Inside Actus refutes this claim: « No offer for Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen. Paris is interested in the player, but nothing concrete. PSG is advancing on other fronts at the same position for now. However, the club reserves the right to make an offer if other pursuits falter. »
Meanwhile, the pursuit of Leny Yoro, an 18-year-old defender from Lille, appears to have been shelved. Despite his promise, the Lille player is no longer an immediate priority for PSG, who prefer to focus efforts on more pressing targets like Tapsoba.
