Despite selling and loaning players left and right, PSG hasn’t parted ways with Layvin Kurzawa. Why? Luis Enrique seems to like him…
Layvin Kurzawa was never in the exit plans for PSG this summer. He even joined the club on their Asian tour. So, was this a strategy to increase his market value? Apparently not. According to L’Equipe, Kurzawa was never really placed on the transfer list. PSG chose to loan out Juan Bernat instead, especially since Nuno Mendes is currently injured.
The sports newspaper reports that Kurzawa won’t be sold or loaned out to an exotic league where the transfer window is still open. His versatility is appreciated, and the coaching staff seems to be counting on him. However, he’ll face stiff competition with Mendes, Lucas Hernandez, and even Presnel Kimpembe on the left side.
