According to RMC Sport and L’Equipe, Kylian Mbappé’s contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is far from being a done deal. However, the player might have already made concessions, and PSG won’t give up on their extension plan, even if discussions continue throughout the season.

As reported by RMC Sport, there is currently no finalized agreement between Kylian Mbappé and PSG regarding a contract extension. Nonetheless, PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, will continue to engage in ongoing discussions with the player. The priority now is to find a solution that is mutually beneficial for both parties.

According to details from L’Équipe, in the event of a free transfer departure, Kylian Mbappé has reportedly decided to forego certain bonuses to ease the club’s financial situation. PSG might attempt to negotiate a contract extension with the player during the season if no agreement is reached over the summer. It’s important to note that Kylian Mbappé has not yet entered concrete discussions regarding a contract extension with PSG. Furthermore, he hasn’t committed to not leaving the club on a free transfer next summer.

His return to the PSG squad suggests that he has made concessions with the aim of minimizing potential losses for PSG in the event of a free transfer departure next year.
