Mbappé Turned Down €100 Million bonuses to Avoid Being Sold by PSG
According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, Kylian Mbappé made significant concessions to stay at PSG this summer.
The whirlwind summer for PSG and Kylian Mbappé ended on a positive note. Even though the player refused to activate his clause for an extra season with Paris Saint-Germain, he was reintegrated into the squad after spending a few days in the « loft of the unwanted. »
According to Abdellah Boulma, the Parisian club had considered selling Mbappé at the beginning of the transfer window, hoping to secure a transfer fee of €150 million.
Boulma’s information suggests that before rejoining the PSG squad in August, Mbappé indeed waived his €100 million in bonuses in exchange for the possibility of leaving on a free transfer in 2024.
