Paris Saint-Germain is considering recruiting Marcus Rashford to replace Kylian Mbappé, according to English media.

According to the Mail Online, PSG is contemplating making an offer close to £75 million to Manchester United to acquire Marcus Rashford, which equates to approximately €90 million. This move would position Rashford as the potential successor to Kylian Mbappé, who is on the verge of joining Real Madrid. However, the English forward recently extended his contract until 2028, which will likely make negotiations more challenging for PSG.

According to the Mail Online, Manchester United would expect a higher offer, estimated at £100 million, to sell their « superstar forward, » which is just over €115 million.

However, Sky Sports reports a different version, stating that PSG has no intention of launching an offensive to recruit the English international.

Although PSG officials have closely monitored the Manchester player, his recent contract extension has significantly diminished PSG’s interest. For the upcoming summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain seems to be focusing on other priorities.

Meanwhile, Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag addressed and dismissed the rumor. « We didn’t extend his contract last season for four years with the intention of selling him this summer, » stated the Dutchman to the media.
