As Luis Enrique nears the end of his first year at PSG, he’s laying down some conditions to consider extending his contract.

The Spanish coach isn’t seeking absolute power, but he does want a say in crucial decisions regarding the upcoming transfer window. According to PSG Inside Actus, Luis Enrique has outlined some requirements for potentially prolonging his contract, which expires in June 2025.

« For recruitment, he doesn’t want big-name stars. He vetoed Leao, a player Campos was keen on. He also turned down Sangaré from PSV and Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City. There seem to be disagreements between the coach and Campos regarding the next transfer window, » reports the source.

Luis Enrique is expected to stand firm on his demands. « The coach may not consider extending if his requests regarding the upcoming transfer window aren’t met and if he isn’t listened to. He enjoys being at PSG, but he won’t stay at any cost. »

Additionally, Luis Enrique is eyeing some departures: Mukiélé, Gonçalo Ramos, Ugarte, Skriniar, Danilo, Carlos Soler, and Asensio won’t be retained. However, he aims to retain Fabian Ruiz, Kolo Muani, and Kang In Lee.
