According to the latest information from Caught Offside, 18-year-old central defender Leny Yoro, currently under contract with Lille until 2025, appears to be a prime target for English club Manchester United.
While Real Madrid seemed to be in pole position to sign Leny Yoro, he is said to have turned down the Madrid offer, preferring to join a club that will guarantee him playing time.
Back in February, sources indicated that Yoro was close to signing with PSG, but things seem to have evolved since then. Now, it’s Manchester United who are in the running to secure the signature of the talented Lille defender.
LOSC has set Yoro’s starting price between 45 and 50 million euros, which could be an enticing deal for Manchester United in search of defensive reinforcements. Negotiations are therefore expected to be tense to lure the young prodigy to the Red Devils’ ranks.
