Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old forward from SSC Napoli, has spoken out regarding his potential transfer to PSG.

Despite maximum pressure from PSG, Kvaratskhelia, currently focused on the Euro, told Sky Sport Italy that his future is not something he’s considering at the moment.

« I’m solely focused on the Euro right now, and after that, I will decide about my future. I’m not thinking about it now; I’m fully concentrated on Georgia. I don’t want to consider everything that’s being said, » he stated.

Napoli Stands Firm

PSG hopes to capitalize on this situation, but Napoli’s president has firmly shut the door for now, refusing any departure. Napoli issued an official statement asserting their stance:

« Regarding the statements from Kvaratskhelia’s agent and father, Napoli reiterates that the player has a three-year contract with the club. Kvaratskhelia is not on the market. It’s not agents or fathers who decide the future of a player under contract with Napoli but Napoli itself!!! End of story. »

The situation remains tense, with the player and his entourage eager to leave and the club adamantly opposed. The evolution of this situation during the summer transfer window remains to be seen.
