Paris Saint-Germain has set its sights on Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho (24 years old, 14 matches, and 2 goals in the Bundesliga for the 2023-2024 season) as part of their summer transfer plans.
According to Sky Sports, PSG is not the only club interested in the English international. Borussia Dortmund, where Sancho was loaned last season after a fallout with Erik Ten Hag, is also in the race.
PSG Willing to Pay the Price
Besides Borussia Dortmund, Juventus Turin and an unidentified Premier League club are also closely monitoring Sancho’s situation. However, PSG’s superior financial capacity could give them a decisive advantage in convincing Manchester United. Sancho is under contract until June 2026, with an option for an additional year, and Manchester United is reportedly willing to let him go for around €50 million.
However, the Mirror in England suggests that Manchester United has set the price slightly lower, at around €47 million, and PSG is ready to pay this amount. PSG is therefore in a strong position to attract Sancho but will need to act quickly and efficiently to outpace the competition.
