Gabriel Moscardo Affirms Focus on Corinthians Amid PSG Transfer
Gabriel Moscardo claims to be… focused on Corinthians
Gabriel Moscardo is set to become the second and likely final recruit for PSG this winter. The player is playing a game of poker while waiting.
Originally scheduled for the upcoming summer, the arrival of the 18-year-old Brazilian will strengthen the Parisian midfield this winter. Despite the initial plan to loan Moscardo to Corinthians until next summer, PSG has chosen to expedite the process, finalizing the transfer for €20 million.
Moscardo will arrive alongside defender Lucas Beraldo, 20 years old, from Sao Paulo, for a similar fee. The latter is expected to undergo his medical examination in Paris soon.
However, when asked about his future, the player gave a somewhat deceptive response to Globo, « My reality today is Corinthians. I will return there at the beginning of January, undergo the intense preseason training, which, as we know, is challenging. I am already thinking about the upcoming challenges, competitions, and the quest for a title. »
« I imagine that, since I was a young player, each year is better than the last. Next year will not be different. I hope to continue playing at the highest level. Regardless of where I am, I want to play, score goals, make assists, and my goal for next year is to win a title as a professional. »
