€230 Million Deal – Is Mbappé’s Transfer from PSG to Real Madrid Completed ?
Mbappé’s Transfer Saga Accelerates: Real Madrid Officially Informed of PSG’s Price
Kylian Mbappé’s potential move to Real Madrid is gaining momentum as the transfer saga takes a new turn. According to Marca, the Spanish club has been formally informed of PSG’s asking price for the French forward.
As of now, PSG has set the price tag at €250 million. However, Faiza Lamary, Mbappé’s mother, is reportedly trying to negotiate a lower amount, deeming the figure too high. Marca suggests that the transfer could eventually be settled around €225-230 million.
The agreed-upon sum would then be split between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé, as compensation for the player foregoing the €192 million he was due for the remaining season on his contract.
The agreement is said to have been reached between Faiza Lamary, Kylian Mbappé’s mother, and Kia Joorabchian, the Iranian agent appointed by PSG to negotiate with her, along with Delphine Verheyden, her lawyer. This understanding could pave the way for an easier transfer of the 22-year-old forward to Real Madrid, a club that has shown keen interest in acquiring his services.
Meanwhile, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi aims to demonstrate the club’s ability to sell a player with just one year remaining on his contract for an astronomical price, maximizing the potential profit from the sale of the talented young forward. This transfer could set a new record in football history, surpassing the €222 million PSG spent to acquire Neymar.
