Christophe Galtier Soon to Coach… in Qatar

Christophe Galtier could soon be back in action, just a few weeks after leaving PSG.

After departing from PSG at the end of the 2022-2023 season, Christophe Galtier is currently without a club, but he might soon land on the bench of Al-Duhail in Qatar, according to well-informed sources from RMC Sport.

Despite his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, the former coach of Saint-Étienne, Lille, and Nice maintains positive relations with Qatar, which could open doors for his comeback.

Upon leaving PSG in July last year, Galtier specifically thanked Nasser Al-Khelaïfi for his « constant and unwavering support, even in the most difficult times. »

This mention referred to the allegations of racial discrimination in Nice, for which Christophe Galtier was placed in custody at the end of June. His trial before the Nice Criminal Court is scheduled for December 15th.
