Neymar, 32, has yet to play for Al-Hilal this season due to a rupture of the ligaments in his left knee sustained in October 2023.
While attending a boxing match at the Kingdom Arena, the Brazilian was approached by Frank Warren, a boxing promoter and Arsenal supporter, who invited him to join the London club. Neymar, who arrived at Al-Hilal in 2023 for €90 million, will be a free agent at the end of the season.
“He’s coming to England. He’s going to play for Arsenal. When are you coming to Arsenal? We need you!” Warren exclaimed to a amused Neymar, as reported by TNT Sports.
Neymar, however, is reportedly considering a return to Barcelona, with negotiations currently taking place between the two parties. Finding a viable solution will be challenging, as Barcelona still lacks the funds to cover the player’s substantial salary.
