Bernardo Silva: One Less Competitor for PSG

Bernardo Silva will not sign for FC Barcelona, according to a Spanish journalist closely associated with the Catalan club.

Bernardo Silva, the 29-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder or winger, currently under contract with Manchester City until 2026, is unlikely to join FC Barcelona after all. This Friday, journalist Lu Martín stated on the Què T’hi Jugues program that the Portuguese international already knows he won’t be heading to Barça.

This close associate of Pep Guardiola and the club revealed: « Bernardo Silva knows he won’t be coming to Barça. He has already said he won’t be living in Barcelona next year. »

However, Manchester City will not negotiate the departure of their player, who is under contract until 2026. In other words, PSG will have to pay the €58M release clause.
