Abdou Diallo, the versatile 27-year-old defender, left Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) during the last summer transfer window to join Al-Arabi in Qatar for a transfer fee of 15 million euros.

In an interview with the YouTube channel ASAC, the Senegalese international discussed the circumstances surrounding his move to Qatar.

« Different moves were not initially part of the plan during the transfer window. My priority was to continue playing in Europe within the top 5 leagues. There were some approaches from European clubs, but I didn’t have that feeling of ‘I absolutely need to go there.’ I’m very content with how this deal turned out, » summarized the former Monaco player.
