UEFA Sanctions PSG for Flares Incident Against Milan

On October 25th, during the UEFA Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan, PSG supporters deployed numerous flares, prompting UEFA to initiate a disciplinary investigation.

Following the decision of the UEFA Disciplinary Committee, the Auteuil stand has been handed a one-match suspended sanction. If flares are again deployed in significant numbers at Parc des Princes over the next two years, PSG will face automatic penalties.

This sanction is in addition to fines amounting to 75,000 euros for flare usage, 18,000 euros for « blocking public passageways, » and 5,000 euros for « pitch invasion. »
