Robert Lewandowski, the FC Barcelona striker, is confident after the quarter-final draw and the upcoming clash with PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain will face FC Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals on April 10 and 16. Asked about the upcoming matches, FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, aged 35 and with 3 goals in 7 Champions League matches this season, expressed his optimism about the announced showdown.

« I am sure we will play better than in the two matches against Naples in the round of 16 (1-1, 3-1), and we will reach the semi-finals, » the Polish player said to TV3. The match is already underway!

« It’s 50-50 »

Rafa Yuste, Barcelona’s vice-president, was more cautious. « No one is the favorite, it’s 50-50. We have a lot of respect for this opponent. We will play with determination and a lot of desire, » he said before continuing. « PSG is a great team with a great coach whom we know well because he is a friend. It’s a team of world-class level. We will have two spectacular matches given the form of PSG and Barça. »

Rafa Yuste also mentioned the reunion with Luis Enrique, former Barcelona player… and Catalan coach during the comeback in 2017. « He is a friend and a great person. He has the Barça DNA, he has won many titles with us. He is a great coach, he knows everything about us, and I say hello to him, » he joked, being careful. This could be an advantage. « Life is made of little secrets that we will not reveal (laughs). »
