Following the incidents that occurred during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille, Parisian players Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi, Randal Kolo Muani, and Layvin Kurzawa have received sanctions from the LFP’s disciplinary committee.
The PSG players have managed to avoid the harshest penalties and have been handed a one-match suspension with a probationary period for their insults directed at Marseille players during PSG’s 4-0 victory. The players have also issued apologies following the events.
The disciplinary committee decided to summon the PSG players, namely Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi, Randal Kolo Muani, and Layvin Kurzawa, based on the match delegate’s reports and the nature of the players’ remarks.
« After hearing the concerned players, the committee has decided on the following for each player: a one-match suspension with a probationary period. The sanction will take effect starting from Tuesday, October 10, » reads the official statement.
