Real Madrid launched a social media campaign in collaboration with Adidas, showcasing several of its players, but without Kylian Mbappé.
Jude Bellingham initially shared a version of the ad on his Instagram account, which included Kylian Mbappé alongside other Real Madrid players. However, this version was quickly removed.
Was Mbappé removed from the ad due to the recent controversy in Sweden? Not at all… According to RMC Sport, it’s simply because Mbappé is a Nike ambassador, while the event was sponsored by Adidas.
What’s more surprising is that other players, like Sergio Llull and Eduardo Camavinga, who are also contracted with Nike, were not excluded from the campaign. However, unlike Mbappé, they weren’t shown wearing Adidas gear, while Mbappé was accidentally featured in an Adidas tracksuit—oops.
