PSG Without Neymar, Mbappé, and Messi Still Worries PSV Coach
PSV Eindhoven is set to face Paris Saint-Germain this Tuesday (9 PM) in the third matchday of the Champions League.
Peter Bosz, the coach of the Dutch club, who previously encountered PSG during his time as manager of Lyon (2021-2022), believes this season’s Parisian squad is stronger, even without the star trio of Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and Lionel Messi.
“There’s a big difference. Without the three or four key players that were there, today’s PSG is much more dangerous than the team I faced when I was at Lyon. Now, PSG is a highly offensive team with a coach who emphasizes a dominant style of play. Both teams are extraordinary, but beating the current PSG is even harder,” Bosz assessed.
PSG will need to be cautious of Bosz’s PSV side, as the former Lyon coach led them to the Eredivisie title last season. This year, PSV is dominating again, with a perfect record of nine wins in nine games, scoring 29 goals and conceding only 6.
