PSG Responds to Neymar and Messi’s « It was Hell » Criticisms of Their Time in Paris

PSG wasted no time responding to Neymar’s recent criticism of his last year at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), as well as Lionel Messi’s recent comments regarding his time at PSG.

In an interview with O Globo, Neymar stated, « I was very happy for Messi, for his season, even though he experienced everything. He went to heaven with Argentina, he lived through hell in Paris, he and I. »

Messi had also made comments about his time in Paris, describing it as « complicated » and different from what he had expected, saying, « It was much easier than we thought, we had experienced the Barcelona experience in Paris. It was complicated, but it was different. »

In response to these remarks, PSG stated in L’Equipe, « We have no comment, we have a certain elegance. Curiously, both players wanted to stay at PSG. » It seems that this exchange of criticisms may not be over yet.
