Players of PSG singing insults against OM: LFP considers sanctions

On Sunday evening, during the post-match celebrations after PSG-OM, at least four Paris Saint-Germain players, namely Randal Kolo Muani, Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé, and Layvin Kurzawa, were filmed singing an insulting song directed at Olympique de Marseille’s supporters.

The compromising video quickly circulated on social media, sparking outrage among fans and French football observers.

The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) reacted promptly by announcing that it would look into the matter, according to Le Parisien. The footage will be carefully examined, and the LFP’s disciplinary committee will hold a special meeting on Wednesday to discuss potential sanctions against the involved players.

If the allegations are confirmed, the players could face direct sanctions from the LFP, or the disciplinary committee may decide to launch a more thorough investigation to gather all the details of the incident. »
