PSG will say no for the Olympics: Barcola and Zaïre-Emery will not be on Thierry Henry’s list for Les Bleus.
PSG is being selective with its permissions for player departures this summer. Unlike Real Madrid, which has denied all its internationals, PSG has reportedly agreed, according to L’Equipe, that Achraf Hakimi can participate in the Olympic Games this summer.
However, the Parisian club will not allow Warren Zaïre-Emery and Bradley Barcola to go, barring any last-minute changes.
No Euro, and Contract Extension in Play for Hakimi
The reason is straightforward: Hakimi will not be playing in the Euro, as he represents Morocco, unlike the two French players. PSG does not want to overextend its two players with two major competitions in two months.
