In a candid statement to L’Equipe, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi addressed the ongoing deadlock with the Paris City Hall over the blocked sale of the Parc des Princes, hinting at the possibility of the club relocating from its historic stadium.
The impasse continues as PSG aims to purchase the Parc des Princes, while the city hall remains unwilling to sell. Al-Khelaïfi’s latest remarks suggest that PSG is prepared to abandon its iconic venue if a resolution is not reached within the next three months.
« We need to have clarity within 3 months, or else we’ll move. We are significantly behind when compared to others. We have plans, but they are confidential. We have three plans already, planned and ready. I’m telling you, we will do it, » asserted Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in L’Equipe.
Expressing frustration, he added, « If they don’t want to sell, it’s not even an option. We can’t wait indefinitely. We have investors who want to join us. We won’t wait for long. Other clubs are building. » The PSG president emphasized the urgency of the situation and the club’s need to progress, echoing a growing sentiment of impatience in the face of unresolved negotiations.
