Mbappé Spends Night Out with PSG’s Unwanted Player at a Nightclub
The Swedish media outlet Aftonbladet revealed that Kylian Mbappé spent two nights in Stockholm, Sweden, accompanied by a former PSG teammate who is no longer wanted by the club.
Mbappé, currently sidelined due to injury, didn’t join the French national team for their latest training camp, staying in Madrid to recover. However, after playing last weekend for Real Madrid, he was spotted in recent days at a restaurant and nightclub in Stockholm with ex-PSG player Nordi Mukiele.
Mukiele’s presence is significant: two years after his €12 million transfer from Leipzig to PSG, the French international right-back (1 cap) has returned to the Bundesliga. Mukiele, who struggled to establish himself at the Parisian club, was loaned for a season to Bayer Leverkusen, the reigning Bundesliga champions, without a purchase option. Rumors from PSG insiders suggest that head coach Luis Enrique was frustrated with Mukiele’s frequent nights out during his first season, eventually relegating him to the “loft” and pushing him out of the club.
The Unwanted Player Too Fond of Nightlife for Luis Enrique’s Liking
Despite Kylian Mbappé’s attempts to avoid attention, including banning cell phones inside the nightclub, photographers still caught him in the street alongside Mukiele.
According to *Expressen*, “the club can host up to 250 guests, and its website states that an invitation list is required to enter. During Mbappé’s visit, there was a strict ban on mobile phones, and all guests had to leave their phones in envelopes upon arrival. Mbappé stayed at the Bank Hotel, located in the heart of Stockholm, just steps from Kungsträdgården and Nybroviken,” the Swedish newspaper reported.
Mbappé’s effort to keep a low profile failed, and after three days in Sweden, he left for Corsica on Friday afternoon, waving at the journalists as he departed.
