According to Le Parisien, Luis Campos, the sporting advisor of Paris Saint-Germain, may leave the club as early as September.

Campos is facing scrutiny internally as he is considered the main person responsible for the delicate situation with PSG’s star striker, whose contract expires in June 2024 and has not yet agreed to an extension despite the club’s efforts.

His close ties with agent Jorge Mendes, who holds significant influence over PSG’s recruitment, have also been criticized. Several players from Mendes’ stable have joined PSG this summer.

In the midst of this tension, Paolo Maldini, who recently departed from AC Milan, has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Campos at PSG. The situation remains uncertain, and Luis Campos’ future with Paris Saint-Germain hangs in the balance.
