Kimpembe, Kolo Muani, players' private lives: Luis Enrique tells all before PSG/Strasbourg

PSG coach Luis Enrique gave an update on his squad ahead of the 8th matchday of Ligue 1 between PSG and Strasbourg (Saturday at 9 p.m.).

Kolo Muani: « It’s always good news when international players get good results, play well, and score goals. If they perform well with their national teams, it’s better for teams like mine. »

His contract extension: « As long as there is no official communication, I have nothing to say on that matter. »

Players’ private lives: « What are you talking about? I’m a football coach, I’m a father, and I take care of my children, but I’m the coach of this football team and I manage the players. Their private lives belong to them and their families. »

Zaïre Emery: « He’s been fantastic at the start of this season, in my opinion. We’re seeing a better Warren than last season, except maybe in the last game, but that was a team issue. »

« Kimpembe helps us in training »

Kimpembe’s return: « No one knows how long it will take for him to fully recover. I’ll be happy when he can help us on the pitch—he’s already helping us in training with his personality. »

Tough to play against Strasbourg: « It won’t be an easy match against Strasbourg. They have a lot of quality players, and they’re the youngest team in Ligue 1. »
