« If I see one who isn’t fully committed, he won’t play »: Luis Enrique’s Message to PSG Players
With the 8th round first leg of the Champions League against Real Sociedad scheduled for February 14, Paris Saint-Germain still has two matches to play: a game against Brest in the French Cup on Wednesday, followed by a confrontation against Lille in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
Luis Enrique isn’t thinking about the Champions League just yet. The match against Real Sociedad is a week away. But before that, there are two matches to focus on. The Spanish coach of PSG wants a motivated group for these upcoming encounters.
« If I see a player who isn’t fully committed, he won’t play. I can’t think about the future; the future doesn’t exist. Our future is only Brest, » he stated firmly.
« If a player isn’t giving 100%, he won’t be in the team. It hasn’t happened against Revel or Orleans, and it won’t happen against Brest. This is an important goal for us. There’s no other match than Brest for us, » emphasized the Spanish technician during Tuesday’s press conference.
