The PSG managed to score four goals against Barça on their turf: a small feat that few teams manage to achieve.
On the brink of elimination after fifteen minutes of play with a two-goal deficit over the two legs, Paris Saint-Germain orchestrated a spectacular turnaround against FC Barcelona (4-1) this Tuesday, in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
And PSG is quite accustomed to such feats on Catalan soil. It’s the second time in their last two visits that the reigning French champions have managed to score four goals on the Catalan club’s turf, following their previous 4-1 victory in the round of 16 first leg in 2021.
In the history of the Champions League, no other team has managed to score four goals or more at Barcelona’s home ground. Although this score should be considered in perspective, as Barcelona was not playing at Camp Nou, their stadium, which is currently under construction.
