Former Paris Saint-Germain player, Javier Pastore, now with Qatar SC, has expressed his admiration for his former team and the new addition, Ousmane Dembélé, despite his current goal tally of zero.
Javier Pastore, a former PSG midfielder, remains attentive to the performances of his old team. He holds deep admiration for star striker Kylian Mbappé and has now praised the new PSG recruit, Ousmane Dembélé, who has been making waves in the team this season.
« Someone who has positively surprised me is Dembélé, » shared the Argentine with journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. « He’s another player I really like. He’s skillful, has tremendous acceleration, can use both feet, and when he starts scoring, he will become one of the most crucial players alongside Kylian. »
Pastore further reflected on his connection with PSG: « PSG marked my career; it’s the club where I stayed the longest, where I made many friends, and the city where my children were born. I was happy there. I have a great relationship with the people; something I’ve also found elsewhere, but during my time there, the bond grew stronger. »
« I don’t know if I was the most beloved Argentine in Paris, and I don’t want to compare myself to others. I am aware that people hold great affection for me. Their fondness mirrors the same warmth I tried to reciprocate on the pitch. It’s something we built together over time, and today there’s a beautiful love between me and the fans. »
