Champions League: PSG to Find Out, Here Are the Best and Worst Possible Draws
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will know its opponents for the Champions League group stage on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Here are the possible opponents.
What group will PSG be in? The answer will be revealed around 6:00 PM this Thursday evening, but before that, some clarifications on the draw rules. Pot 1 includes the defending UEFA Champions League titleholder (Manchester City), the UEFA Europa League winner (Sevilla FC), and six national champions including PSG. Pots 2 to 4 are determined based on the UEFA club coefficients ranking.
PSG cannot be drawn against Lens, and the same rule applies to two teams from the same country. The top two from each group will advance to the Round of 16. The third-placed teams will move to the knockout stage playoffs of the Europa League, where they will face a second-placed team from another Europa League group, competing for a place in the Round of 16.
