UEFA is already paying out, as PSG has only played two matches.
PSG and RC Lens have already received their initial payments for their participation in the 2023-2024 Champions League. In mid-September, both French clubs received a portion of the bonus awarded to the 32 teams that qualified for the competition’s final stage.
This amounts to €14.8 million for each team playing in the Champions League, including PSG, out of the total €15.64 million planned in the distribution scheme for participating teams. In total, UEFA has disbursed €473.6 million to the clubs. The remaining balance of €800,000 will be paid in October 2024.
Furthermore, the coefficient ranking payments were settled at the end of September for the current season.
