Kylian Mbappé’s nose injury is complicating his transfer to Real Madrid, potentially delaying the planned schedule.

Mbappé will have to postpone surgery for his nose fracture until after Euro 2024, which is unwelcome news for Real Madrid, who had everything planned for mid-July.

Real Madrid aimed for swift surgery to avoid any delays in Mbappé’s presentation. However, if France progresses to the Euro final on July 14th, Madrid planned to present Mbappé on July 16th, allowing little time for the operation.

In addition to monitoring Mbappé’s recovery alongside the French team, Real Madrid prefers immediate surgery to ensure proper healing, concerned about the consequences of a rushed return during Euro 2024. This could potentially delay Mbappé’s presentation originally scheduled for July 16th, as presenting him with a swollen face directly after surgery would not be ideal.
