Lucas Beraldo was shown a red card during OM-PSG, and the LFP (French Football League) did not take it lightly.
Automatically suspended for Wednesday’s Coupe de France match, Lucas Beraldo will be out for a while. The defender, who received a red card during last Sunday’s Clasico in Ligue 1, has been suspended for… two matches.
As a result, being suspended for the match against Rennes in the Coupe de France semi-final, the Brazilian will also miss the game against Clermont this Saturday (9 PM) in the championship. This is quite a severe suspension, especially considering that many observers did not understand the initial red card.
Lucas Hernandez is also suspended next weekend due to accumulating three yellow cards in ten matches.
