PSG vs. Strasbourg: A Major Threat for Beraldo

Paris Saint-Germain returns to Ligue 1 this Saturday evening (9 PM, DAZN) as they host Strasbourg for the 8th matchday. Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo faces the threat of suspension in the league.

Following a draw against Nice two weeks ago, PSG is back on the pitch at the Parc des Princes, just days ahead of their Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven. With the gradual return of international players, manager Luis Enrique may opt to rest some key players against Strasbourg.

Willian Pacho and Marquinhos, who played the full 90 minutes in both matches for Ecuador and Brazil, respectively, along with Nuno Mendes, who participated in both of Portugal’s games, could be given a breather.

Although Lucas Beraldo has not featured for Brazil, he is likely to start. However, he must tread carefully: having already received two yellow cards in five Ligue 1 matches, another booking on Saturday would see him suspended for the encounter against Lens on November 2.
