PSG vs. Brest: It was a Champions League Performance
Despite facing significant challenges from Brest, Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-1 victory at the Parc des Princes on Saturday night, managing to turn the game around.
A shaky start, but a strong comeback. Ousmane Dembélé’s double, Fabian Ruiz’s goal, and an improved collective performance allowed PSG to overturn an early deficit after Brest took the lead.
After the match, Luis Enrique praised Brest’s performance in his interview with DAZN. “It was truly a Champions League match, as we discussed before the game. Brest is a good team, strong both collectively and individually, and I commend Eric Roy for his effort—it was really tough.”
« A Pleasing Feeling to Win »
“Last season, it was always difficult to play against Brest, so it’s a pleasant feeling to win. We might be more or less precise, but at the Parc, we know we’re going to fight, create chances, and show commitment. At halftime, I told the team we were playing really well and not to focus too much on the score, that we would win.”
