PSG Facing Sanction After Homophobic Incidents
During the PSG-Strasbourg match on October 19, homophobic chants were heard in the Auteuil section of the stadium, despite warnings from the announcer about the club’s zero-tolerance policy toward such behavior.
Sanctions are expected for PSG. According to RMC Sport, the club will likely face penalties, at the very least a fine, due to these homophobic incidents.
The LFP’s disciplinary committee will review the case on October 30. PSG coach Luis Enrique stated in a press conference that he was unaware of the situation. Similar incidents have led to sanctions in the past, such as the €10,000 fine imposed on Montpellier for inappropriate chants.
