PSG showed nothing against Clermont on Saturday. A 0-0 draw that left Luis Enrique visibly frustrated, but not necessarily because of his players’ performance.

PSG seemed to be in off-mode at Clermont. Challenged by the bottom team in the league, Parisians displayed their poor form. However, for Luis Enrique, the players were not to blame. « I feel sorry because it was a difficult match, and we knew it. I think we created more chances than Clermont, and we should have won this match, » the Parisian coach first stated.

Luis Enrique did not appreciate the state of the pitch: « I’m happy with the players’ performance. We could have been more aggressive in the first half, but it was tough to play on this pitch. It was challenging conditions for us. »

« We’re trying to create and win matches; the attackers are trying to score, to shoot well, but every time it bounces off. They changed the pitch three days ago, but we weren’t lucky enough to have a pitch in good condition, » he added.
