« Good Luck »: Mbappé’s Remark to Chevalier Before Scoring His Penalty

Kylian Mbappé was the sole scorer for PSG against Lille on Sunday night, and it came from a penalty. Before taking the shot, he had a brief exchange with LOSC goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

Mbappé seemingly wished the opposing goalkeeper good luck or perhaps issued a warning, depending on interpretation. Just before taking and successfully converting the penalty, the PSG player said, « Bonne chance » (Good luck) to Lucas Chevalier.

However, Mbappé’s penalty was not enough for PSG, as they were equalized in injury time with a goal from Jonathan David (90th+4 minute).
