Paris Saint-Germain is set to travel to Marseille for the Clasico on Sunday, and Luis Enrique might opt for some rotation, with Mbappé possibly starting on the bench.
The thunderclap might come on Sunday. According to Le Parisien, Luis Enrique is considering putting Kylian Mbappé on the bench for OM-PSG. The Spanish coach could implement some slight rotation. The aim is to be ready for the match against Rennes in the French Cup by resting a few internationals.
Kylian Mbappé had previously been a substitute for PSG against Marseille. In October 2018, following a sanction imposed by Thomas Tuchel, the 2018 World Cup winner changed the game, paving the way for PSG’s victory with a final score of two goals to zero, the second goal being scored by Julian Draxler.
This time, it’s different. Luis Enrique is planning for the future without Kylian Mbappé. Kolo Muani and Ramos are therefore expected to start if the information is confirmed. Also absent will be Bradley Barcola, who is injured.
