Bradley Barcola was shown the red card on Sunday night towards the end of the PSG-Brest match, receiving two successive yellow cards, with the final one sparking controversy.

Barcola was expelled by Clement Turpin in the dying moments of PSG-Brest, and the rationale behind the decision left many perplexed.

A second yellow card was issued for a foul that seemed non-existent on Brest player Lees-Melou, who appeared to fall after hitting the ground.

According to the well-informed PSG Inside Actus Twitter account, PSG « is considering filing a complaint regarding Barcola’s expulsion (within 24 hours).

Paris believes that the first yellow card was unwarranted… ». The footage seems to support PSG’s claim.
